God gives second chances just like what He did for Peter (John 21:15-17). But be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but wise, making the most of every opportunity (Eph. 5:15-17).
Today, find out what pleases the Lord (Eph. 5:1-21)
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.—Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose hope.—Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.—You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the LORD, is the rock eternal.
(Isa. 43:2 KJV; 2 Cor. 4:1; Col. 3:15; Isa. 26:3-4)
At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision.
This is my devotion last June 30, 2012. I just remembered it this morning. I think I’ve read it from one of my mom’s book called Breakfast with God. However, you’ll be reading a summary I’ve done already.
Anyway, this is really a great motivation for us to work with less stress. Wait I’ll take it back, you’ll be stress less.
So here it is:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. -Galatians :22-23
Nearly all of us face our day with a “to-do list”. The Scripture compel us, however to have a “to-be list”!
While it may be important to accomplish certain task engage in certain project, or have certain encounters during a day, what is more important for eternity is the person we’re throughout the day.
From a ‘to-do’ perspective, we tend to come before the Lord and say, “This is my list and this is my schedule. Please, be with me, help me, bless me.”
From a ‘to-be’ perspective, we might make these request of the Lord:
*Help me to reflect Your love today.
*Help me to display Your joy.
*Help me to manifest Your peace.
*Help me to practice Your patience.
*Help me to express Your kindness.
*Help me to make known Your goodness.
*Help me to reveal Your faithfulness.
*Help me to show Your gentleness.
*Help me to exhibit Your self-control.
Our to-be list, therefore, must always begin with an invitation to the Holy Spirit to inspire us and impel us toward good works.
In order to express the Lord’s kindness, for example, we first must see ourselves as receiving the Lord’s kindness.
So today, ask God to help you to exhibit, share, reflect, practice, manifest and display the Fruit of The Holy Spirit.
Don’t just stay being blessed. Be a blessing!
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” —Ephesians 2:20-21
“Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime, you will have no equal among kings.”—1 Kings 3:13
Don’t you just love these verses? They’re both lovely!
I’m so impressed how God works in our lives! Even though we don’t deserve any of the things we have right now, He’s simply reminding us that it’s not about us—not about who we are or what we deserve. Instead, He’s telling us how much He loves us and how much He wants us to experience His power and grace!
It’s all about God’s love and grace for you! It’s amazing when you think of it…that He’s able to bless you extremely (2 Cor. 9:8)!
So today, I pray that you’ll be blessed and be grateful on what God has given you all out of His love.
To God be all the glory!
Sometimes it’s hard to keep believing
In what you can’t see
That everything happens for a reason
Even the worst life brings
If you’re reaching for an answer
And you don’t know what to pray
Just open up the pages
Let His word be your strength
And hold on to the promises (Hold tight)
Hold on to the promises (Alright)
Jesus is alive so hold tight
Hold on to the promises
All things work for the good
Of those who love God
He holds back nothing that will heal you
Not even His own Son
His love is everlasting
His faithfulness unending
Oh, if God is for us who can be against us
So if you feel weak
Neither life, nor death
Could separate us
From the eternal love
Of our God who saves us
High-res
God will put you at the right place at the right time. He can use your kind words to help someone get back up on their feet again.

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7)
Every new year, everyone’s talking about “New Year’s Resolution” but God is not interested in your resolutions or promises to try harder; instead, He asks for your love. If you truly love Him, your service for Him in the new year will be of the quality that He desires.
Cast all your anxiety on Him for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
