The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.—I have not learned wisdom, nor have I attained to the knowledge of the Holy One. Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Tell me if you know!—Our Redeemer—the LORD of hosts is his name— is the Holy One of Israel.—I am the LORD, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator, your King.”—So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.—Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, ”What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”—I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the LORD am the Holy One in Israel.—All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me.—“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us. Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.—For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.—Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.—We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.
